INSTRUCTIONS:
The GOV.IL Domain Registry provides
registration for gov.il (governmental)
domains only.
The following
domain registration is handled by
http://www.isoc.org.il:
org.il - organizations ("amutot", "malkarim" etc)
ac.il - non-profit academic
institutions
net.il - registered Internet service providers
k12.il - kindergarten
to grade 12 schools
The registration is done by sending
form
by e-mail to
registrar@mof.gov.il
The form should be as a plain ASCII text. Please do not use attachments.
One domain request each time, do not send multiple domain requests in one
"mail message". In the Subject of the message, use the words, "NEW DOMAIN
MODIFY DOMAIN", or "REMOVE DOMAIN" as appropriate, followed by the name of
the domain to assist in sorting and locating incoming registration requests.
Please do not modify the form nor remove the version number. Do not add or
delete blank lines. Do not add spaces or other characters in column one.
Place
your data after the colon (:). All names (Organization, Last, First,
Streets,
City etc.) should begin with a capital letter followed by lower
case letters.
Your request will be processed within seven days.
Once your registration has been completed it will appear on the RIPE
whois database.
http://www.ripe.net/perl/whois
When completing the
form, make use of http://www.ripe.net to check
to see if the domain name,
organization name, people, and name servers
have been registered. Use the
information in the database where appropriate.
This will minimize the number
of registrations that are returned for
incomplete or inaccurate information.
